Science Brewer
Today, in the
27th ScienceBeer, Holger and Nina were our Science Brewers. Holger is a PhD Student in Technical University of Dresden and works on Holztechnik und Faserwerkstofftechnik. Nina is a Student in Technical University of Dresden and works on Holztechnik und Faserwerkstofftechnik.
Today Holger and Nina showed us how it is possible to transform pieces of wood (or other regional matterials) to a spoungy fiber which only absorbs oil-alike liquids! These fibers then will be spreaded on oil-spilled oceans and rescue the environment and wild life.
